So I went on a Volunteer trip from Friday to Saturday this past week with my Key Club. Our teacher sponsor's church was accompanying us so that all the kids would be supervised ect. There were 12 girls (including myself) and 1 boy (LOLOLOL PAT) he was actually only there to take pictures. Anyway. So we went to Greensburg and we stayed at the Lakeside Nursing Home. There were five people per room, four girls, and one adult (female). Pat just roomed with the other adults. It. Was. CRAZY.
We call the suburban we drove up in 'Sabrina's Adventure Machine.'
Okay, so each suburban took about seven kids. Our suburban consisted of Me, Charliethevampslayer, Lauren, Sarah, Megan, Alex, and Pat (I'm going to pretend you know who these people are). It was so funny.
The first adventure was 'the murdered sleeping bag.' As we were all going to be sleeping on the floor, we all brought sleeping bags. Well, for some reason or another, the car said that the trunk was open, so Sabrina went to the back, opened the trunk and closed it. As we drove out of the parking lot, we felt a slight bump, but we didn't pay it any mind. That is, until Sarah yelled out 'IS THAT A SLEEPING BAG????' Of course, we all whip our heads around and begin laughing like idiots. It was Charliethevampslayer's sleeping bag. It had tire marks on it and everything. IT WAS GREAT. (this is situational humor by the way.)
The second adventure was when we stopped for food. We pulled into McDonald's, when Pat bumped into me. I then pushed him back, and he fell onto Alex. We then proceeded to have a fail mosh pit in the drive through of Goddard Kansas. So we then went inside, and two girls got happy meals, Charlie and Alex, so of course, they got My Little Pony (c) toys. Charlie got a unicorn and Alex got a winged horse. Pat took Charlie's pony hostage at french fry point, and was then shanked by the plastic horn. Oh yes, you're jealous. Of course, Alex was not happy with just ONE pony, she went up and bought another one. Yes, she's that cool. And it was GREAT.
So we piled back into the car (Me, Sarah, and Charlie in the back, Alex, Megan, and Lauren in the middle, and Pat had shotgun cause he has the longest legs (he plays soccer, and is a guy...so). Lauren, Alex, and Charlie then proceeded to have the best pony war ever.
Then something of great consequence occurred...
I lost my wallet.
So what happened was I had gone to the bathroom at McDonald's and put the wallet on top of the toilet paper dispenser. So I started freaking out, and everyone else started freaking out, and Sabrina, for some reason, had the McDonald's phone number. She then called and asked them to look. They found it inside the diaper changing station, and the diaper changing station was CLOSED. Which meant that someone had handled the wallet after I'd left it there in a fit of irresponsibility. Inside the wallet were 40 bucks or so, my driver's license, my student ID, and various other items that should be kept with a person at all times. I did not know if everything was in it or not. We couldn't go back, as we'd already arrived and that night I ended up telling Sarah and Charlie things I've barely told anyone. It's no surprise that they're two of my best friends.
Anyway, the next day, we split into teams to help out everyone one in Greensburg. Sarah and I went to help clean out a man's garage. Thousands of volunteers had gone through and used his tools, but he couldn't find anything. This man was heavier set, and older, so he had a hard time moving around as it was a PACKED and CROWDED GARAGE. Also. The unicycle.
So There's this kid named Levi and he rides a unicycle around town. I fell in love, no, not with the boy, but with the unicycle. I would. So we got to meet him, and it was just an awesome day. We saw how much of a community Greensburg was, and it was really crazy to see the damage that had occurred and how far Greensburg had come.

Had a session with my mother, meaning that we screamed, then we cried, and then we just talked. And now life is back to normal. This happens every once in a while...

I'm alive now, I wasn't as active as I usually am, and I haven't drawn much except for in Studio.
Anyway, my ceiling tile is underway~ I'm doing a spin off of the American Gothic, the picture is like a portrait of them when they're first starting out living on their own. They're more carefree than the tight lipped and wizened couple we see in the actual painting. They also seem more determined. In the original picture, only the man is holding the pitch fork, in mine, they're going to both be holding the pitch fork together in a symbolism of team work, they're ready to take on the world. I'm doing brighter colors, I'm ditching the guy's black jacket, and making the woman's dress a happier color instead of the dull red it is.
Homecoming was yesterday, so I went over to Charlie's house and from there, us and three more girls went to Kwan Court for dinner. We all shared and it was really fun, then (beautifully dressed up as we were) we were just driving around trying to figure out what to do since we still had like two hours or so. We then proceeded to venture into Barnes and Noble, only to be given strange looks, and I did not succeed in finding 'Bloodhound.'They purchased coffee (I don't drink it, the smell makes me uncomfortable) and we left. We then went back to Charlie's house and made a new band (Soul Apocolypse) and made a French/Mexican pair of siblings. Carlos and Margarite. Carlos is more Hispanic looking, and Margarite is a tiny little thing. The band was from Paris. Margarite was me, I played guitar, Charlie was Carlos and sang, our friend was Brigite and played bass (well the guitar and the bass were interchangable), and then our other friend made a character named Angelique, lol. It was fun, and we ended leaving late to attend the dance. I wore a black dress that had corset strings in the back and a halter neck. It was very hourglass shaped l-lol. And there are sequins and beads (white) that trail down and stop at a little down my torso. The skirt flairs out and has black trim netting under the skirt. All in all, I looked basically like an Asian, gothic fairy. My hair was curly and down and my mother did my make-up.
I met my date (Justin) at the dance, and he gave me a nice corsage and we spent like fifteen minutes trying to put on his boutineer (sp?)
I then proceeded to have fun.
A little before the dance ended, we lit out of there and drove back to Charlie's house. I already had my stuff there (I actually forgot my glasses and contacts LOL GO FIGURE, GOOD THING I DIDN'T DRIVE MYSELF) so me and Charlie chilled out in her room and ate donuts that her mom purchased for our breakfast. I was talking to RyN on the phone at the same time, and it was pretty interesting. I sounded Schizo I'm sure. Anyway, our other friends (A and K) freaked us out by jumping at us when we went into the basement to look for them. S came a bit later, and then we proceeded to Rock Band it up again. We ate pringles, pretzels, and twizzlers. We then watched X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Charlie fell asleep after putting in the movie. K, A, S, and I watched the movie through. It was a second time for A,S and me, but K hadn't seen it so we kept quiet about the plot. But we stilled talked a bunch. We fell asleep at about 3:40-3:50. I then woke up at about 8:40 so that my parents could pick me up and drive to 9:30 mass. I collected my things, changed and ate breakfast half blind (I have daily contacts, so you can't rewear them... yeah). Then I got home and helped prepare the outside furniture for colder weather, taking in cushions, moving stuff, etc. (I'm so buff guys, totally, I mean seriously, look at these guns), Then I showered, (I still had make up on and my hair was still mad curly), and we ate Pho for lunch. (My mom makes the best Pho ever) Then I did my math homework (I was already about 3/5 done. Then I started writing this book my mom wanted me to write. (Yeah that's totally going to happen right?) I have a grand total of a paragraph. Then I had to help my dad move INDOOR furniture OUTSIDE IN THE FREEZING WIND to the basement in order to redecorate the house. Because God forbid our house isn't reorganized every few months. I then smuggled some Bo Vien and Pho broth, heated it in the microwave and ate/drank it.
Now I'm here. I still have yet to break up with my SAT prep book (which became my first official boyfriend, we had a lot of study dates. Our relationship was mostly physical, I'm pretty handsy with my boyfriends, I know that now) I am also in a slight dilemma dealing with a guy I know. I've ordered my cap and gown, and I have my tassel dangling right next to me. It's kind of unnerving.
I'm graduating at the end of this year. I'm still 16 and I'll be entering college at 17. I'm still applying, but I'm pretty sure I'll get into a state school at least.
I'm interesting in Speech and Audiology, so yeah. Speech therapy is something I'm looking into.
